Our Dentists

Dr. Shideh Gharaei

General Dentist

Dr. Shideh Gharaei graduated with distinction from the University of Western Ontario, where she was selected by the Vice-Dean and the Director of Schulich Dentistry to work as a research assistant. Her dedication to research has resulted in the publication of numerous scientific articles on oral diseases.

Dr. Gharaei is committed to staying current with the latest literature and techniques in the field. Her philosophy is treating patients with respect, compassion, and high standard of care. She has a special interest in Cosmetics, Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Gharaei enjoys swimming, watercolor painting, and reading.
Dr. Daniel Bitar, BSc (Hons), DDS

General Dentist

Dr. Daniel Bitar was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario. He is fluent in English, French, and Arabic. He is a proud member of the Canadian Dental Association (CDA), Ontario Dental Association (ODA), Ottawa Dental Society (ODS), and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons (RCDSO).

He has an Honours BSc in Biopharmaceutical Science with a specialization in genomics from the University of Ottawa and obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Western Ontario - Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry.

Dr. Bitar aims to provide patient-centred dental care. He believes in treating others the way that you would like to be treated and always being yourself.

His hobbies include a variety of sports such as soccer, basketball, football, and more, as well as travelling and socializing with friends and family.
Dr. Line Fournier

General Dentist

Dr. Line Fournier grew up in Edmundston, New Brunswick. She completed her undergraduate studies at l’Université de Moncton, earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences with a Minor in Psychology and a Major in Biology. After completing her Bachelor’s Degree, Dr. Fournier pursued her studies at Dalhousie University in Halifax, where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2001.

Since completing her studies, Dr. Fournier has worked as a dentist in the Yukon and Northwest Territories and the province of Ontario. She has also volunteered at St. Jude’s Hospital in St. Lucia and remote villages in Bolivia.

While practicing in northern Canada, Dr. Fournier appreciated being able to offer comprehensive dental services in areas not regularly served by dentists and dental specialists. She has been established in the Ottawa region since 2005. Her area of focus is cosmetic dental care and whole mouth restorations.

When not at the practice, Dr. Fournier can be found spending time with her family, including her two daughters, either on the lake in the summer or on the ski slopes in the winter.
