Informing Your Treatment Plan
The technology we use can give us great insight into your oral health. It lets us capture clear images of your teeth, mouth, gums, and jaw.
We can share these images with you on a computer screen in the treatment room with the touch of a button, allowing us to show you issues in your mouth, including those below the gum line or deep within your teeth.
Our goal is to help give you peace of mind while we work together to make decisions about your oral health.
Digital X-Rays
Digital X-rays use digital sensors instead of traditional photographic X-ray film. They produce highly detailed images of the teeth, gums, and other oral structures which are then sent to a computer for viewing and evaluation. X-ray images help us better identify what issues you might be facing so that we can get you the treatment you need.
Panoramic X-Rays
Panoramic X-rays allow your dentist to create a single image of your mouth. This image represents the teeth, upper and lower jaws, temporomandibular joints (TMJ), and nasal and sinus structures. Panoramic X-rays are often used to help plan treatments for dentures, tooth extractions and dental implants.
Soft Tissue Dental Lasers
In dentistry, lasers can be used in various soft tissue procedures. When our dentists use dental lasers, we can perform a range of services with less pain and a reduced risk of complications and medical intervention. At Dentistry on Bank, our dentists use lasers for restorative purposes, like reshaping gums or removing diseased tissues.
iTero 3D Scanner
Intraoral scanners like iTero create 3D digital dental impressions, a great alternative to traditional impressions. They allow your dentist to capture accurate data to create digital replicas of your mouth's hard and soft tissues. The images produced are used for planning and monitoring the progress of your treatment. Our dentists use the iTero 3D dental scanner to take a digital impression of your smile and design your Invisalign clear aligners.
